The Wadi is a new AED 6 billion waterfront community on Yas Canal, developed by Cosmo Developments, a joint venture between Flag Holding Group and Reportage Group, which manages it from delivery to long-term operation. Spread over about 140,700 sqm, it will hold 3,950 homes, from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, alongside commercial, recreational and sports facilities and a planned hotel. The design takes its cue from the UAE's wadis and the way water moves through the valleys, with landscaped canal-side promenades running through the community. The location is well connected: Zayed International Airport is about five minutes away by car, Ferrari World about nine, and central Abu Dhabi around 23 minutes.
