How PROPIQ separates assumptions from evidence
A note on labels: what this site will publish, what stays blank, and why a missing figure is not stored as zero.
PROPIQ is a property intelligence company for buyers. The work is to make property research easier to read, starting in Abu Dhabi. This note explains the labels you will see. It does not report a price, a rent, or a yield for any building or district.
Evidence
A market figure needs a source title, a source link when one exists, the date of the observation, the method, the unit, and a person who has checked it. Asking prices and transacted prices are not the same thing and should not be mixed in one unlabeled number. If a reviewer has not signed off, the figure stays unpublished.
Assumptions
Calculators are different. You type the rent, the price, the costs, and the rates. The page marks those lines as assumptions. An illustration inside a guide uses obvious round numbers and says that it is an illustration. It is not a disguised market quote.
Unknown is not zero
If a service charge, an area, or a payment stage is missing, the tools leave it unknown. They do not quietly treat the blank as zero, because zero would improve a yield or a price per square foot for no reason. Dividing by zero is rejected with an error instead of an infinite result.
What is still in draft
The first research list — area guides, purchase costs, off-plan comparisons, and the rest — is stored as drafts. Titles and outlines are visible to staff. They are not published, and they contain no statistics, because the sources are not attached yet.
